Workflow Automation in Corby
Nobody has a job called copying things between systems. It is twenty minutes here and forty there across a dozen people, which is exactly why it never gets prioritised — and why it quietly adds up to one or two full-time roles.
Do you do workflow automation for businesses in Corby?
Yes. GTX Digital automates the rules-based, repetitive work that consumes a team’s week in businesses across Corby, chosen by measured hours rather than by what is easiest to automate.
- Only deterministic steps get automated; judgement stays with people.
- Every automation has a defined exception path to a named human.
- Chosen by measured time cost, not by what is easiest to automate.
Corby · Northamptonshire
A steel town turned major distribution and manufacturing centre
Material certificates, inspection records and despatch paperwork are produced per batch under time pressure. The volume makes manual assembly indefensible.
Corby was built around steel and retains a heavy manufacturing character, but the town’s economy has broadened substantially into distribution and food production. The industrial estates ringing it are among the larger concentrations of production space in Northamptonshire.
For this work that lands mainly in Distribution & logistics, Food production and Manufacturing & production.

How we work here
What workflow automation looks like in Corby.
The full scope, phases and deliverables are on the Workflow Automation service page. These are the parts that are specific to working here.
-
Measured before built
A two-week time audit produces a ranked list of processes with an hours-per-week cost against each. Gut feel picks the wrong one.
-
Thin margins, small processes
Where an hour of admin per order is decisive, the work worth automating tends to be small, frequent and relentless.
-
Compliance paperwork
Documentation generated and filed per batch or per delivery removes both the labour and the risk of a gap at audit.
-
Exceptions routed to a person
Every automation has a defined path to a named human. One that silently fails on anything unusual is worse than the manual process.

Questions
Workflow Automation in Corby, answered.
The questions businesses in Corby ask before they commission this work.
Will automation mean redundancies at our Corby site?
In our experience it almost never does, and we would rather say that plainly. What gets automated is fragmented admin spread across people who all have a real job as well. The usual outcome is absorbing growth without recruiting. If headcount reduction is the actual goal, say so, because it changes what we would recommend.
